RAINBOW RUN. RUN FOR HEALTH. RUN FOR CHARITY

Assalamualaikum everyone. 

 It has been a long time since the last entry was updated on this blog. Probably because everyone had been busy preparing for the end of block 3 exams and soon after, every infi8itor escaped the life as a dentistry student by spending quality times with family during the 1 week long block break.

On 8^th of March 2015, few of our sisters joined Rainbow Run, a running race event organized by POLISAS. With the theme “Run for Health, Run for Charity” , the event is held at Taman Jubli Perak Sultan Ahmad Shah aka Taman Bandar. RM5 is portioned out of  RM20 participation fee to be donated to the National Cancer Council Malaysia (MAKNA). 

Every participants received a tshirt and a certificate. The event commenced around 9 am with a fun aerobic exercise followed by the marathon. The 4km-long race was participated by around 500 runners all from different ages. As anticipated, there were many IIUM students who joined the run probably because the venue is very near to our campus. 

Some of our Eximius and RX-13 friends were also there.

Overall, the run was definitely fun and full of colours. We got to run along with people from different races,  different ages,  and different walks of life. Not only that, we also got to give out charity for the cancer fighters out there. Hopefully, there will be many more participations from the members of infi8ite should there be any more of this kind of event next time around.
