Assalamualaikum warahamatullah wabarakatuh...
INFINIT8 bureau of Discipline and Training had organized Sisters' Night on last Thursday (9/10/2014).
Enjoy ~
OF SISTERS’ NIGHT
Alhamdulillah, we finally managed to hold our very first
sisters’ gathering on last Thursday. It was the first official event organised
by the Discipline and Training Bureau.
The objectives of this event are to nourish the souls with
the remembrance towards Allah and also to strengthen the ukhuwwah among us
sweet maidens of INFINIT8 *wink wink* ;) With that pure nawaitu embedded in our
hearts before commencing the program, alhamdulillah in return we got to spend splendid
time together as one. The event started with Isyak congregational prayer. After
that, we played a simple game - ‘Tirai Ukhuwwah’.
Before kicking off, we had a brief ta’aruf session. But hold
your horses! It wasn’t like any other plain ta’aruf. This time, everyone had to
include their full name (as stated in IC :p), birth date and favourite food.. Not
only that, everyone had to take heed of the physical appearances of each
particular person as it would be helpful during the game.
We were divided into two groups. In each group, two
subgroups were required to win against each other. Basically, each group
consisted of 8-10 persons.
How to play the game?
First, a huge curtain
was placed in between the two separate subgroups. Each subgroup had to choose
one person as their representative to beat the representative from another
subgroup. Both reps were required to sit on the floor facing each other, with
the curtain shielding them from seeing each other, meaning that they absolutely
had no idea of who the person behind the curtain was. Then, the game person instructed
each representative to immediately utter
the name or birth date or favourite food of the rival once the curtain was
dropped off. The one who managed to say out loud any of the criteria of the
opposition rep wins the round, and the loser had to be sacrificed into the
winning group.
We had so much laughter that night. Later on, our head
bureau of D&T, Khadijah concluded
the night and gave us so much input on
the importance of ukhuwwah. I must say, you looked exceptionally cool that
night Kak Dijoh! Hats off. And then there came the best part of all..
*drum rolls*
ICECREAM!!!!
InsyaAllah, the sisters of INFINIT8 will hold this program
weekly throughout the year. The sure thing is, we did not solely had fun that
night, but we also received precious lessons and everyone in the room felt that
the bond between us had gotten stronger. Till the next entry. Assalamualaikum
;)
~ Thank You ~
